OUR GOLF COURSE

Our new Number Ten requires a water-carry all the way to green. Tees range from 67 to 221 yards.
Number Eighteen has been completely rebuilt, featuring a cavernous fairway bunker and very elevated green.
Par-5 Number Five has tees set high above the fairway. Stagg Creek wanders through just to keep it interesting.

Meandering through the foothills alongside the South Anna River and Stagg Creek, the new Hanover Country Club golf course demands constant attention. It requires every shot the golfer can produce, and uses every club in the bag.

So what's so surprising? Hanover has always had a challenging golf course.

Tom Clark of Ault, Clark & Associates designed our new layout with three par-fives, giving us a 6700-yard par 71 championship golf course. Just as before, the fairways are tight. And all our new greens are well-bunkered, so accuracy is a must. But don't worry . . . with up to five tee selections on every hole, golfers are able to select the degree of difficulty that matches their game. See our new VSGA Ratings.

Hanover has long been recognized for excellence in golf. Our junior golf program has produced local junior champions and a U.S.G.A. Junior Amateur qualifier. We have a very active Women’s Golf Association and our Men’s Senior Association competes in most local inter-club senior tournaments.

For a detailed look at all that Hanover CC has to offer, as well as an invitation to join us, contact a member or the business office and schedule a tour. But don't delay -- we have a great schedule of events planned for the coming season. And be sure to check out our new membership classes. We've got something to fit every individual or family lifestyle.
